Due to the centrifugal effect occurring when the water enters the inlet section tangentially, particles heavier than water are thrown towards the device walls and descend towards the collection area with spiral movements. Particles collected in the lower chamber of the filter are periodically or continuously discharged manually or automatically. The water separated from the particles is drawn upwards through the vortex in the middle of the separator and passes to the outlet line. Cartridge filter systems consist of the filter body and cartridges. The filter body acts as a nest for the cartridges, which are the main elements purifying the water. Filter bodies can be manufactured from stainless steel and carbon steel materials. Cartridges used in the cartridge filter systems have different micron sensitivities. For this reason, it is possible to carry out sensitive filtration at the micron level with cartridges with appropriate sensitivity, number and features for different capacities. The characteristics of the raw water entering the filter, the usage duration of the filters and the contamination duration of the cartridges are the criteria. Dirty cartridges should be replaced as they increase the pressure loss of the filter and decrease the filtering sensitivity.
