The color and turbidity of iron and manganese, which are dissolved in the waters, cause bacterial proliferation. Especially in the textile, plastic, paper, leather and food industry, undesirable results occur in the production. Thanks to the special filtration mineral used in the filters, up to 5 ppm of iron and up to 2 ppm of manganese can be purified. The molten iron, which is filtered at low speeds through the special mineral, is oxidized and filtered between the layers. Iron and manganese thrown out by backwashing are removed from the water. There is no need for regenerative material during the backwashing. However, for iron content higher than 5 ppm and manganese content higher than 2 ppm, it is possible to solve the problems by using regenerative material in the backwashing with different filtration mineral. It is the process of removing the arsenic mineral found in the arsenic removal unit water. Thanks to the arsenic mineral, the arsenic value in raw water is reduced below the drinking water standard values, making the water drinkable. In addition, thanks to the mineral acting as filtration, the particles, turbidity and sediments in the water can be filtered and the water can have a clear appearance as such. Ammonium filtration systems are applied to remove ammonia thanks to the special mineral that is being used.
